The office is open on a reduced schedule to preserve Social-Distancing. Please review our policies below to ensure the health of our patients & staff.
Extensive Cleaning procedures and Air Purification:
All areas with patient contact are cleaned with CDC recommended cleaners after each patient interaction. The office has Medical Grade H13 HEPA Air Purifiers in the optical and in each examination room to filter the air for patient health and safety.
Staggered appointments to keep Social Distancing: Reduction in appointments per hour. Patients will be asked if they are experiencing coughing, congestion, or low-grade fever- if so, we will reschedule. New patients will not be seen unless they register online.
Modified Patient Check-in: The Reception Area is closed (some chairs will remain- six feet apart). Patients will call to notify arrival will be met at the door. Only the patient is allowed into the office. The patient’s temperature will be measured at the practice entry. Patients reading 100.4°F or above will not be allowed entry.
PPE Usage: We require all patients to wear a face mask and use hand sanitizer when entering the office. All employees will wear PPE. Employees temperatures will be measured at the start and end of each day.
Curbside Pickup of Glasses & Contact Lenses: Patients should call to indicate arrival and a staff member in PPE will deliver items to the car.
Frame Selection and Sanitization: Frames selected and worn by a patient will be collected in an individual tray. Once finished with frame selection, those frames will be carefully washed with soap and hot water and dried before placing back on the frame board.
