   The best form of LASIK combines the two newest procedures- Intralase and Custom LASIK. Intralase is essentially bladeless LASIK.  A laser is used instead of a diamond blade to create the flap of tissue in the cornea that is pulled back for the eye to be reshaped. Intralase increases the level of safety and the accuracy of the correction dramatically. Custom or Wavefront LASIK is a customized laser program specifically for YOUR eyes. Again this can dramatically improve the results and eliminate side effects such as night glare.
